Volunteer & Third-Party Fundraising

We Appreciate Your Support in Fundraising for Mohawk Village Memorial Park

We welcome volunteer and third-party fundraising efforts, but it’s important that we are informed before the event takes place.

To ensure transparency, protect our reputation, and comply with legal requirements, we ask that anyone planning a fundraiser benefiting Mohawk Village Memorial Park:

1. Notify Us in Advance – Please contact us with your fundraising idea before promoting or hosting your event.
2. Submit a Fundraising Agreement – If you require a fundraising authorization letter or wish to use our name/logo in promotions, you will need to complete and sign our Third-Party Fundraising Agreement.
3. No Personal Profit – Volunteer-organized fundraisers must donate 100% of the profits to Mohawk Village Memorial Park. No individual may retain personal profit from the event.
4. Be Transparent About Donations – You must clearly state the percentage or amount of proceeds that will be donated to our organization
5. Follow Applicable Laws & Regulations – Fundraisers involving raffles, gaming, or alcohol require compliance with all legal requirements, permits, and licensing.
6. Understand Our Promotion Policy – If our organization promotes your authorized fundraiser, a public disclaimer will be included in all posts to clarify that the event is independently organized.
