Mohawk Village Memorial Park is pleased to recognize the students of I.L. Thomas for their fundraising efforts in support of our 2026 Walk for the Park fundraiser.
Together, students across all classes raised an incredible $1,561.40!
This generous contribution will help us develop and maintain Mohawk Village Memorial Park—a dedicated space honouring all the children who attended the Mohawk Institute Residential School.
To the students and staff of I.L. Thomas: thank you for your kindness, hard work and community spirit. Your support helps us honour all former students of the Mohawk Institute Residential School.
Pictured here is the I.L. Thomas kindergarten class, whose fundraising efforts brought in the most donations of any class. Thank you to these young supporters for helping make a difference!
