It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our respected and treasured board member, John “Dub” Elliott on Thursday January 30, 2025. John was a well-respected member of our community and an irreplaceable part of our organization. John served on our board for 6 years, bringing his wisdom, construction knowledge and dedication to Mohawk Village Memorial Park. His contributions have left a lasting impact, and we are very grateful for the time and knowledge he shared with us.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, fellow residential school survivors and all those who were touched by his warm smile and kindness.
